Paper is a beautifully simplistic material. This project is meant to highlight how more complicated designs can be achieved using simple materials. Even paper.

We a Cricut Explorer Air to cut templates of a birdhouse. Both the roof and the body are cut separately. Then using tape, the roof and body are stuck together.

Students were encouraged to personalize their birdhouses using markers and pencil crayons. Next time, we’ll also provide stickers.

Students took their birdhouses home. As for the ones the Rebels Makerspace made, we stuck them around the school. Call it Guerrilla marketing!
