Rebels Makerspace is not just available for students to access outside of class time. Our makerspace can be booked by teachers for students to use during class time. This was the case for the students in Ms. Loo’s Math class, who utilized the makerspace to learn about 3D objects by making more complex objects by combining simple 3D shapes. Utility knives, metal rulers, cutting mats, and tape were all in heavy use. In the end, students had fun learning about 3D shapes, all tools were accounted for, and so were all of the students’ fingers.
